This body of work attempts to explore the British, North-South divide. Stimulating from Thatcher’s reign as Prime Minister, her plan to redirect the countries economic status left the south standing in supremacy and the north left to suffer. Nearly 50 years later, this body of work reflects on how the divide is as significant today through addressing the divides cultural, economic, and social differences. Using satire and semantics, it attempts to break down this layered topic, creating work that resonates to the public.
